![]() Orly's Draw-A-Story is geared toward children in the five to ten year old age range. It also includes a list of resources, both book and Internet, and gives information on Alreca Whyte, the voice of Orly. The manual for the game explains how to use all game controls, gives background on Jamaica, and lists activities designed to get children to tell stories of their own. So what is this glorious game I speak of Very simply put it was a creative design single player game set partiacially in an imaginary world where the player is invited to illustrate the characters or key features of particular scenes. Here, players can write their own stories, illustrate them with pictures and sounds, and save them. In addition to drawing pictures for one of Orly's stories, players can make up stories of their own using the "Make A Storybook" feature. ![]() The option is also provided to simply not save it and make new drawings when the story is told again. When the story is finished and all the pictures are done, players can hear it and view their pictures again, or save it to watch later. After a picture is completed, it's then animated and used in the story to represent a person or thing. If the player can't come up with a suitable idea to draw, he or she can open the shutters at the top left corner of the screen and click on one of the many pictures there to use as an idea.
